Development Manager - CRYPTO

A pioneering startup ,operating at the intersection of fintech and crypto, is looking for a talented, dynamic Development Manager/VP R&D to lead its research and development efforts, oversee the development of new technologies, and ensure the successful and timely delivery of high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

● Lead and manage the R&D team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.

● Develop and execute the R&D strategy, aligning it with the company's overall goals .

● Manage R&D budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.

● Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new products and technologies.

● Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including CI/CD methodologies.

● Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other teams to ensure successful product delivery.

● Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and identify opportunities for innovation.

Requirements:

● 3+ years as a Development Manager in a startup environment, managing R&D teams of more than 5 developers - Must.

● 5+ years of experience in full stack development - Must

● 2+ years of experience in NodeJS + TypeScript - Must (NestJS advantage)

● Experience with Agile methodologies - Must

● Extensive experience with SaaS platforms and CI/CD methodologies - Must

● Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker - Must

● Deep understanding in crypto.

● Strong background in handling large-scale traffic, data, and complex architecture.

● Familiarity with cloud technology and services such as GCP.

● Proficiency in React and GraphQL - Advantage.

● High-level education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Must.

● Excellent leadership and strategic thinking skills - Must
