Network Engineer for a Leading Company

Job Description:

• Design, establishment, and maintenance of large and complex network infrastructures
• Daily management and operation of the organization's large network systems
• Implementation of new protocols and applications in the network systems
• Performing configuration changes in the network systems according to business requirements
• Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting
• Managing and implementing network security policies
• Planning and implementing network backup and recovery mechanisms
• Close cooperation with other teams in the organization and with external suppliers
• Executing projects to expand network infrastructure and increase traffic capacity
• Providing technical support to external entities and the organization's customers
• Writing and updating technical documentation for the network systems
• Learning and implementing new network technologies and ongoing professional development

The engineer will be responsible for the stable and reliable operation of the organization's large and complex network infrastructures, while responding to changing business requirements and implementing upgrades and new technologies to improve network performance.

Requirements:

• At least two years of experience working as a Network Engineer at an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or a communication provider with over 100,000 subscribers
• Deep and thorough knowledge of communication protocols: BGP, ISIS, MPLS, MPLS-VPN, MPLS-TE, IPv6, VPLS
• Good familiarity with large network systems and network equipment from Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, HP
• Strong systemic understanding ability
• Ability to work in a team and cooperate with various interfaces within the organization
• Good self-learning ability
• Proven experience in designing and executing large projects with traffic capacities of 200Gbps and above
• Willingness to work intensively and during non-standard hours
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good command of the English language
• Experience working with international external entities
• High service awareness
