R&D Group Manager - Infinity Playblocks and AI Copilot

1. Infinity Playblocks is Check Point’s new Security Automation and Collaboration Platform. With thousands of customers in less than a year, Playblocks transforms the prevention paradigm by introducing automated responses for security threats and operational incidents. Playblocks has gained a tremendous momentum since its launch in last October.
2. Infinity AI Copilot is our latest AI innovation, it combines the power of AI Powered Threat Intelligence with Generative AI for the industry’s best threat prevention, automated threat response, and efficient security administration. The AI Copilot is currently in Preview release, and will be launched in General Availability later this year.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a group of talented 10-15 developers and tech leads in 2-3 teams with responsibilities on both products:

• Own and lead all R&D development in the group including methodologies, processes, tools, guidelines and standards.
• Own the development roadmap, work closely with Product Management to decide on plans and priorities, lead changes when needed. Present plans and success stories to the upper management in Check Point.
• Hire excellent people, foster a culture of teamwork, cooperation, growth and success.

Responsibilities with focus on Infinity Playblocks

• Drive Playblocks to success – do everything in your power to increase adoption and usage, e.g. by understanding customer need and initiating new “killer features”, by pushing for collaboration with other Check Point products, by giving visibility to customers and to the field on latest developments etc.
• Lead all inbound product aspects in Playblocks – design new features and improving existing ones together with UI/UX experts, look for proactive ways to increase security value and offering, lead customer success including issues and RFEs, work with the sales teams in Check Point on technical and product aspects and more.
• Own the cloud architecture, be able to improve and challenge technical designs. Look for opportunities to reduce costs.

Responsibilities with focus on Infinity AI Copilot

• Launch Infinity AI Copilot for Quantum (Check Point Network Security) in General Availability after gaining high confidence on quality and usage.
• Collaboration with all relevant teams in R&D, QA and Product Management to drive constant improvement and increase coverage, accuracy and performance.
• Initiate and design new features for the AI copilot.
• Own the relevant components in the architecture of the Copilot. Be able to improve and challenge technical designs.

Qualifications

• +3 years of experience managing a technical development team, including serving as a second-level manager (manager of managers).
• Hands-on experience in cloud development with strong understanding of cloud architecture and design. Working with AWS – advantage.
• Background in network security – advantage.
• Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Passionate and inspirational leader, proactive, highly motivated and driven by success.

• People’s person, leader by example. High ability to engage workers, peers and managers to create wide impact.
• Strong product leadership, high customer-oriented approach.
• Very good presentation skills – to customers and managers.
