About the ATE Group:

The ATE (Automated Test Equipment) Group at Innoviz leads the charge in developing complex, multidisciplinary capital equipment machines. These machines are integral to the characterization, calibration, and production of Innoviz's pioneering LiDAR technology, combining expertise in Software, Hardware, Optics, and Mechanics.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative System Engineer to join our ATE Group. As a key member of the development team, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our advanced testing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of ATE multidisciplinary systems involving opto-mechanics, electrical hardware, algorithms, and software.
• Bring up multidisciplinary setups.
• Execute complex system integration tests and experiments.
• Write and maintain scripts in Python to communicate with external devices.
  
  

• B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field from a leading university – Essential
• M.Sc. – An Advantage
  
  

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar role within a multidisciplinary company, with a strong technical orientation and a proven track record in large-scale projects – Essential
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in hardware-related roles such as mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, or system engineering – Essential
  
  

• Proficiency in building and evaluating system-level technical designs
• Experience with hands-on lasers, active alignment processes, electro-optics, or sensors – An Advantage
• Background in writing Python scripts – An Advantage
• Strong familiarity with testing and measurement tools and equipment
  
  

• Ability to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary environment with tight, fast-paced development schedules
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
• Motivated, self-learner with rigorous attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to detect and troubleshoot system-level problems
