Field Application Engineer (FAE)

As a FAE, your role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities. You’ll offer in-depth technical support for customer circuit design and system development, and participate in customer presentations, product introductions from strategic suppliers, and technical sales training. This training will be delivered to customers and the regional sales team through various platforms such as lunch and learn seminars, workshops, webcasts, and other forums.

Your specific duties will include:

• Offering engineering support and early system solution consultation to assigned customers. You’ll guide the design process and resolve any issues that arise during the customer’s design and development phases.
• Implementing programs to strengthen and leverage our relationships with customers and manufacturers. You’ll support suppliers through initiatives like seminars and trainings at market-wide or customer sites, technical sales programs, and technical marketing programs.
• Using your engineering expertise to develop and execute a business strategy that effectively promotes our supplier products to the right engineering design customers in the market, leading to accelerated revenue growth.
• Documenting customer activity through our system.
  
  

The requirements for this role are a BSC/BENG/BSEE in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of Board Design experience in the following technologies:

• 8-32 bit microcontroller hardware/firmware design
• Analog Signal Chain design
• Power conversion design (AC/DC and DC/DC)
