A Team leader for back-end and front-end team, remote & part time job (20 hours / month).

Role Description and responsibilities - team leader:

·       A contract based, part time job - about 20 hours monthly.

·       Remote role, for a team leader.

·       Lead a 2 members team – a Back-end Developer (Python), and a Front-end developer (Flutter), both are working remotely, both are located in India.

·       The team is working on the development of a high-quality and scalable cross platform applications on mobile & web.

·       The team leader is responsible for the execution of the work plan, and confirm the quality of the code written by the team.

·       Reporting to the CEO.

·       Collaborate with other multidisciplinary teams that are working on other aspects of the project (electronic - IoT, UX-I, product, etc.), to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of industry experience in leading a software team in both areas: back-end and front-end.

Areas of experience:

1.     Backend:

a.     Proficient in Python programming, experience in: FastAPI, Flask, REST APIs, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and TSDB.

b.     Experience with integration with third party frameworks for authentication, payments, chat, IoT, etc.

c.     Experienced with IoT telemetry protocols such as MQTT, Mosquitto, and relevant open-source projects.

d.     Proficiency in design patterns for microservices architecture.

e.     Proficiency in deploying Google Cloud.

f.      Develop microservices for analytics serving the Business Intelligence team

2.     Frontend:

a.     Expert in Flutter development skills.

b.     Knowledge of major app architecture patterns like MVC, MVVM, etc.

c.     Good understanding of state management principles using Riverpod, Provider (or similar).

d.     Native Android and/or iOS app development experience.

e.     Have published apps on Google Play Store or Apple App Store

3.     Experience with project management tools: Atlassian Jira and Trello, JumpCloud, Google workspace, and GitHub.

4.     Exposure to UI/UX best practices.

5.     Expert in writing code that is clean, reusable, maintainable and testable.

6.     Experienced with management of remote teams.

7.     Experienced with management of multicultural teams.

Soft skills:

1.     Engage with engineering and product teams for technical discussions & code reviews.

2.     Adapt to the chaos of a startup company, and ambiguity while shaping the future.

3.     Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

4.     Essential to have good time management and organizational skills.

5.     Work closely with the founding team, and manage a multinational team, paving the way for exponential learning and growth.
