Responsibilities

GreenOnyx microbiology is not classical R&D microbiology!

You will be required to develop your own experimental systems using in hours and brand specific hardware and infrastructure.

For this you are required:

• Strong understanding and control of the scientific method- The ability to take a research process from hypothesis to drafting protocols and sketches, construction, execution and result analysis.
• General scientific knowledge and understanding- Namely flow dynamics, rudimentary organic and inorganic chemistry, pumping actions, filtration and radiations methods.
• Good technical and mechanical skills are a must- you will be required to independently construct the physical layouts of all your experimental systems.
• Develop, write, review, validate and document new sterilization schemes and protocols.
• Develop and implement new microbial sampling and detection schemes.
• Analyze, interpret, and translate results into actionable and tangible findings.
• Collaborate with the company’s multi-disciplinary teams, scientists, engineers, and other specialists.
• Support production line at the pilot farm.

Requirements:

• M.Sc. in microbiology/biology.
• Hands-on lab experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team player, extremely resourceful, independent, and self-motivated.
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, tight budget, and timeline.
• Ability to work in a dynamic ever-changing environment.
• Good technical orientation.
• Ability to integrate and operate mechanical systems.
• Fluent in English (reading and writing skills).
