What you will be doing:

Conducting hands-on and theoretical research related to acoustic field interaction with tissue structures. Development of Benchtop, in-vivo models and theories based on observed results of experiments as a basis for new therapy methods.

• Team member in the physics research team
• Collaborate with R&D project managers to assist in physics research.
• Support the development of company products with hands-on and theoretical research in acoustic physics, ex-vivo and in-vivo experiments, and acoustics and MRI data analysis.
• Follow and support collaborations with academia
• Working according to Insightec Quality Policy, relevant Quality Procedures & Standards, and privacy & safety rules.

What you have:

• PhD degree or equivalent in physics, or a related field
• “Hands-on” experience with laboratory setups - planning, design, building and measurements
• Proficient in applying AI techniques to medical imaging, as well as signals in the time and frequency domains
• Proficiency in utilizing Matlab and Python programming environments
• Experience in the development of large-scale simulations
