Principal System Engineer

We're seeking a System Engineer Team Leader for an innovative company

Description:

• Responsible for planning and designing complex electronic systems up to the camera level in the IR field.
• Defining system architecture, selecting components, and solving complex technical problems.
• Deep understanding of various electronics disciplines and the ability to divide tasks and requirements among them.
• Leading the image processing algorithms development (classical and neural network-based) in the thermal domain.
• Responsible for recruitment, training and management of team members.
• Working with other development groups, procurement and supplier development, customer service, manufacturing, engineering and integration, marketing, and business development.

Requirements:

• B.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or another relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Engineer / Architect / Systems engineer.
• Management experience - an advantage.
• Experience in designing integrated systems including hardware, software, and algorithms.
• In-depth knowledge of various processing components (microcontrollers, processors, FPGAs) and the ability to choose the most suitable platform for each project.
• Deep understanding of development processes including planning, development, and control.
• Familiarity with advanced algorithms such as image correction and enhancement.
• Experience in project management, setting goals, budgets, and schedules - an advantage.
