Description

Kanso Diagnostics is a startup company developing a novel CRISPR-based molecular testing platform for at-home diagnostics. Our technology combines the accuracy of PCR tests with the simplicity and convenience of rapid antigen tests. We develop a molecular testing platform for diagnosis of bacterial and viral infections anywhere, anytime, by anyone. Our novel platform can accurately detect multiple pathogens and genetic biomarkers from a single sample. It can reduce diagnosis time-to-results from days to minutes.

Responsibilities

· Molecular assay development- plan, conduct, analyze and communicate laboratory research studies

· Process optimization to reach clinical level standards

· Work with a multidisciplinary team of professionals in biology and engineering

Requirements

· MSc or PhD in life sciences, strong background in molecular biology

· Extensive bench experience with molecular biology methods (cloning, PCR, RT-PCR, immunoassays)

· Highly organized and independent

· Team player

Advantages

· Background in molecular diagnostics (IVDs, LFAs, GNPs, Oligonucleotides etc.)

· Previous industry R&D experience

· Proven track record of product characterization / assay development according to regulations requirements
