Position: System Field Support Specialist

About the Role: A leading security company is on the lookout for a talented System Field Support Specialist to support military projects for our international clients. This role involves hands-on support for complex IT systems and data communications equipment. As a part of our team, you'll have the chance to work abroad, at client sites, for approximately 30% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site support for installations and system deliveries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT systems and data communications equipment.

What You’ll Need:

• Technical Skills:
• Solid knowledge in Communications and System Administration.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP protocols, IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, and routing.
• 1-2 years of experience with Windows operating systems.
• Practical experience (1-2 years) with Linux operating systems, specifically RHEL and CentOS.
• Hands-on experience with Docker in Linux environments (1-2 years).
• Familiarity with VMware VSphere versions 6.5/6.7/7.
• Experience setting up and operating environments with vSAN or NetApp (1-2 years).
• Understanding of the OSI Model.
• Languages:
• Proficiency in English.
• Additional language skills are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PE Diploma in Electronics/Software Engineering.
• BSc in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Electrical Engineering.
• MCSA/CCNA certification.
• Experience with installing IDF military systems.
