Accountant

In short …

The accountant role supports the accounting department by performing and including reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing and recording transactions, preparing reports, fact-checking, filing of tax returns, and other duties, as required.

What you will be required to do …

• Preparation of monthly VAT return
• Ensuring preparation of monthly Withholding Tax return always meets the time frame required.
• Ensuring payment to the Tax authorities
• Contact for / with tax authorities
• Cooperate with auditors
• Preparation of tax calculation for year-end
• Preparation of tax returns in cooperation with tax advisors
• Review GL accounts, reconciliations, post monthly journals & invoices, bank statements
• Manage cash position and bank accounts operations – deposits, foreign currency exchange
• Signing documents as a trustee or company ID with the authorities (Tax office / Social security office / VAT office, etc.)
• Support NPE Accounting Team in Germany
• Ensure payments to the Tax authorities for VAT, WHT, National Insurance and Income tax are paid on time.

What you have …

• Certified Accountant in Israel
• Previous experience in Accounting Firms and International Corporations (5 to 10 years).
• Computer skills, excel, power point, word.
• Knowledge and experience of SAP (Finance module).
• Fluent Hebrew / Good level of written and spoken English.
• Flexible work attitude.
• High work commitment & standards.
• Multitasking & independent, very well organized.
• Punctual, ability to learn and adapt.
• Integrity and discretion.

Working conditions:

Contract

• Full time, permanent.

Working hours

• Sunday to Thursday office hours, flexibility to work outside core hours including some weekend working.

Location

• Kiryat Gat – Israel.

Travel requirements

• Infrequent periods abroad as required by your line manager
