SaaS Security Analyst

One of our clients, a pioneering SaaS security company, is looking to hire a Cyber Security Researcher / Analyst.

This company is at the forefront of the SaaS security industry, combining SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) with advanced remediation and business user collaboration.

As the complexity of SaaS applications increases, so do the risks associated with misconfiguration, identity, data management, and SaaS-to-SaaS integration. This organization empowers security teams to identify and mitigate these risks, enabling businesses to adopt SaaS technologies securely.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex data structures and risk surfaces to ensure comprehensive security coverage for clients.
• Conduct research that adds tangible value to the company’s product offerings, enhancing customers' overall security posture.
• Identify and address security flaws in SaaS and business applications.
• Investigate applications and permission structures to ensure they adhere to security best practices.
• Assist customers with incident research by providing context enrichment and event investigation.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to define innovative security solutions that align with customer needs.
• Share relevant research findings with the broader industry to contribute to cybersecurity.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity research or as a cybersecurity analyst.
• Extensive knowledge of SaaS applications and cloud security is a significant advantage.
• Deep understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or similar is beneficial.
• Ability to develop basic Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and automation scripts.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic startup environment.
