Security Researcher

We seek a detail-oriented and experienced security researcher, who will help us keep inventing and designing the data security domain. In this role, you will need to dive deep into security and IAM properties of various cloud providers. You'll be an integral part of Cyera and a crucial part of the business. The role involves hands-on responsibilities, deep product understanding, as well as working closely with developers and product managers.

Responsibilities:

• Research security posture in different cloud providers, deep down into identity architectures and authorization mechanisms, as well as AI and data services. Set up playground environments for self-research, facing complicated configurations and varied access options.
• Create best practices and data security policies based on research findings.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the cyber security field: including the latest trends, techniques, and threats in the cyber security field.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering, Research and Product teams to transform research insights into product features.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 years experience in the security research field.
• Experience with security posture research delivered insights and best practice policy configurations.
• Working Knowledge and proven experience in programming and scripting in Python and Bash\cloud CLI.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience delivering security detections for product and R&D
• Show initiative and autonomy in driving projects forward, requiring minimal supervision.
• Advantage: Familiarity with cloud services, cloud environment architecture, and the major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
