Data Engineer

The company is a data startup developing a cloud-based platform that allows marketing and sales professionals worldwide to share business information and gain insights about their target customers. Additionally, the platform can recommend potential customers and organizations relevant to sales professionals, streamlining and optimizing the business information gathering process, thus enabling them to focus on the actual sales.

The company is located in Tel Aviv (near a rail line) and employs a hybrid work model with 3 workdays from home. They have 300 employees.

They raised $205 million in a Series B round at a valuation of $1.5 billion, achieving unicorn status.

About the role

• Design and implement high-scale and data-intensive platform.

• Analyze, develop and execute data integration solutions in order to manage the information lifecycle needs of the business units.

• Participate in the most significant projects in the company.

• Research and implement algorithmic solutions.

Requirements-

• 2 years' experience in designing and implementing server-side Data solutions.

• 3 years programming experience, preferably in Python and SQL.

• Experience implementing algorithmic solutions, data mining, and analytical methodologies.

• Able to use orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm.

• Experience with Data Lake, Spark - Advantage.

• Familiarity with AWS ecosystem - Advantage.

• Familiarity with the following tools: Kafka, DataBricks, Jenkins

• Experience working with various database engines - Elasticsearch, Redis, Postgres, MySQL
