Project Manager

We have an immediate opening in Israel, for a Project Manager, in our Research & Development department.

Responsibilities:

Manages people, who lead cross-functional teams, that are focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system from design to release for customers.

Develops, defines and executes project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Identifies needed resources for projects, and defines and assigns major project roles. Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed. Assigns and monitors work of project/program management staff, providing technical support and direction.

Typical tasks will include:

Project Management -

• Plan project execution.
• Assemble cross-functional project teams
• Define Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), tasks, and assemble schedule.
• Assign tasks to appropriate resources.
• Authorize and monitor execution of tasks and quality of work product (including final product.)
• Communicate project status and issues/roadblocks to appropriate managers and executive management.
• Management of outsourced major components (sub-Project Management.)
• Draft production documentation (test and calibration procedures.)
• Present program status in executive reviews (i.e. program phase exits)

Qualifications: 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Familiar with a variety of Project Management concepts, practices, and procedures (Gantt, Agile,…)
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Educational / Experience Requirements:

• Sc., M.Sc. or PHD in engineering area (Physics, electronics, Mechanics, Software etc.)
• At least 10 years’ experience in capital equipment company
• Advantage: Experience in Semiconductors industry
• At least 2 years in Industry as project leader/manager 
• Fluent in Hebrew and English
