Design , plan , manage & govern the application security methodology ,work processes and tools in the application development lifecycle in amdocs.

What will your job look like?

Full Lifecycle Project Management: you will be responsible for the Secure Development methodology, work process, support and govern in Amdocs SW engineering projects from planning to monitor.

Team and People Management: You will manage a remote team based in India, overseeing both professional and personal care aspects of team members who are to support the related secure SW development practices and tools.

Technical Leadership: You will lead the team in resolving technical application security challenges and spearhead unit-level initiatives to build technical competency, ensuring the team meets secure software engineering practices, automation, and quality processes.

Continuous Improvement: You will promote a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency in software and business processes through innovative thinking and the use of new software engineering tools.

Stakeholder Management: you will work with multiple interfaces, relationships, and communications to ensure software delivery aligns with customer requirements and adds value to their business.

All you need is...

• 10+ years in a Software Engineering role, with a focus on CICD and security development practices from Heatmap to Testing, from Code Scan to Exit Criteria.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computing or equivalent.
• 4-5 years of experience leading engineers through the project lifecycle.
• In-depth knowledge and proficiency in security code scan tools (e.g., Checkmarx), security penetration testing (manual and automatic), and related domains.
• Thorough understanding of secure development lifecycle, CICD environment, and application security principles, including code scanning, penetration testing, and DevSecOps.
• Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of managing security software engineering projects.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, particularly in remote teams.
• Ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
