Electrical Engineer – Power Systems Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer specializing in power systems to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the maintenance and execution of cutting-edge electrical projects in one of Israel's largest petrochemical facilities. You'll have the opportunity to manage complex projects, design and install advanced power systems, and ensure the reliability of our operations through proactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the operation and implementation of critical electrical systems, providing expert guidance to electricians and external contractors.
• Serve as the technical authority, leading and mentoring the electricians' team in troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Oversee the work of external contractors, ensuring adherence to the highest standards in electrical practices.
• Program and configure protection relays and drive systems to optimize plant performance.
• Play a pivotal role in the planning and design processes of electrical systems, including rigorous evaluation of system designs.
• Prepare and approve Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to ensure alignment with operational requirements.
• Operate and maintain high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage electrical systems, ensuring seamless plant operations.
• Prepare project cost estimates and manage the maintenance of protection systems with precision and care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized academic institution.
• Chief Electrician’s license; Electrical Engineer’s license preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial plant settings is highly desirable.
• Strong technical acumen with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams in task execution.
