Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly connected Co-Founder with deep expertise in trade finance and robust relationships with banks and financial institutions. As a Co-Founder, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our company, driving business development, and establishing and nurturing key partnerships with banks and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Work closely with other founders and the executive team to develop and execute the company’s strategic vision and business plan.

- Banking Relationships: Leverage existing relationships and build new connections with banks and financial institutions to expand our network and secure favorable terms for our clients.

- Trade Finance Expertise: Provide deep insights into the trade finance industry, identify market opportunities, and develop innovative financial solutions for SMEs.

- Business Development: Drive the growth of our company by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, negotiating deals, and closing partnerships with key stakeholders in the trade finance ecosystem.

- Product Development: Collaborate with the product and technology teams to ensure our platform meets the needs of both SMEs and financial institutions, offering seamless and efficient trade finance solutions.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our company adheres to all relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the trade finance and banking sectors.

- Thought Leadership: Represent our company at industry events, conferences, and forums to build brand awareness and establish the company as a leader in the trade finance space.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in trade finance, banking, or financial services, with a proven track record of success in business development and partnership management.

- Network: Extensive network of senior-level contacts within banks, financial institutions, and trade finance organizations.

- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of trade finance products, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think strategically and drive initiatives from concept to execution.

- Communication: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

- Leadership: Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.

- Education: Advanced degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
