Exciting Opportunity for a Development team leader in Tel Aviv!

We're looking for a skilled professional manager to join a premier fintech organization based in Tel Aviv. This company is a trailblazer in payment solutions, enabling businesses and individuals to execute seamless and secure financial transactions across global markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a dynamic team of developers across backend, frontend, and legacy PHP.
• Develop and maintain cutting-edge server-side applications using NestJS.
• Design and manage robust databases, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Drive frontend development with React and maintain legacy PHP code.
• Collaborate seamlessly with team members to integrate UI with server-side logic.
• Ensure top-notch performance, quality, and responsiveness of all applications.
• Tackle bottlenecks and bugs head-on, maintaining high code quality and automation.
• Mentor your team, conduct code reviews, and uphold coding standards.
• Align development goals with other teams and stakeholders, actively participating in development activities.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience in managing teams of developers
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Expertise in Nest.JS or Node.js, with strong SQL database skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Docker, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is an advantage
• Experience with maintaining and refactoring legacy PHP code is an advantage
• Excellent coding standards, organizational skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
• Strong leadership, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
