About the Role

The Director of Finance will oversee the daily operations of the finance department at a fast- growing software company while supporting key strategic and operational activities. This role includes managing day-to-day finance functions, overseeing accounting and business analysis, and introducing new tools and processes to drive the company's growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance within the technology industry and a proven track record of designing and managing financial operations in a rapidly expanding global company.

Kee Responsibilities

1. Financial Management and Reporting:

• Oversee all financial and accounting activities and functions, including payables, receivables, payroll, general ledger, and treasury.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Manage the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

2. Risk Management and Compliance:

• Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, both domestic and international.
• Coordinate audits and ensure the implementation of audit recommendations.

3. Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure the finance team is equipped with the necessary tools and resources to perform effectively.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other departments to support overall company objectives.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making in areas such as product development, sales, marketing, and Business Development.
• Drive process improvements and efficiency across the organization.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• MBA or CPA - an advantage
• 7 years of experience in finance operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Hands-on manager experienced in team building with proven track record of managing financial operations in a global company
• Experience in transaction services from a leading accountant firm – An advantage
• A clear background in a technology / SW business
• Fluent with GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Experienced in business analytics, SW / SAAS metrics, and KPI building
• Experience in deploying Finance / ERP systems
• Analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Communication and interpersonal skills
