Business Process Owner

The Business Process Owner will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing business processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing analytical skills to identify opportunities, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities: 

Lead and own the operations team processing flows in a matrix management style for both Ocean & Air teams. 

Manage business processes to ensure accuracy in bills of lading, shipping statements and invoices.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes by identifying areas for enhancement, implementing best practices, and driving initiatives to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.

Identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to enhance underperforming Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational processes.

Strong presentation skills for regular interface with stakeholders and inter-personal skills to develop relationships

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in the Freight Forwarding domain (Ocean & Air).

Experience working with data-driven measurements and metrics for functional areas. 

In-depth knowledge of Ocean & Air Freight forwarding business and understanding of supply chain logistics.

Excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of deliverables

Ability to identify and resolve problematic areas and trends in data

Experience working across a global network of offices in different time zones.  

Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
