Production Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the glucose sensor production line.
• Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 production technicians.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Oversee the Sensor production and chemistry processes, including polymer coatings.
• Ensure compliance with clean room protocols and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with industry stand• Oversee the daily operations of the glucose sensor production line.

• Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to implement process improvements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure the maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
• Maintain accurate production data records, including inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and personnel performance.
• Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked with necessary supplies and equipment, and coordinate with vendors for procurement.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing within the biotech or medical device industry.
• Proven management experience, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Capabilities for assembly, integration of multidisciplinary systems
• Strong knowledge of flex circuit production and chemistry processes, including polymer coatings – Advantage.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in operating and working in a clean room environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and foster a cooperative team environment
