Board Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the definition of avionics/ground systems architecture (participation in discussions, surveys).
• Develop electronic boards/cards in accordance with the company's product development processes.
• Write and maintain hardware specifications for boxes/cards - SPEC.
• Lead product development in a work package, manage a work plan, surveys, schedules, and integrations.
• Define hardware-firmware-software integration documents and participate in integrations.
• Participate in final system integration and testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Required.
• At least 8 years of experience in developing digital boards (CPU, DDR, and FPGA components) and analog boards for complex systems, from the specification stage, through editing, integration, and transfer to production, including experience in managing subcontractors - Required.
• At least 8 years of experience in hardware/firmware/software integration - Required.
• Experience in writing design and system documents, editing and interface documents for programmers, and summary reports.
• Knowledge of Power & Signal Integrity simulations.
• Knowledge in FPGA development including code writing, simulations, and laboratory integration - Advantage.
• A systems-level perspective and the ability to design hardware architecture in a project are required.
• Knowledge of accompanying testing until transfer to production.
