IT Engineer

As an IT Engineer at BlueSnap, your primary responsibility will be implementing end-to-end solutions across both on-premise and cloud platforms. In this role, you will collaborate closely with other teams and 3rd-party vendors to deliver effective solutions. Additionally, you will ensure the seamless operation of our backend and critical systems, maintaining optimal uptime and adhering to strict compliance standards throughout all processes.

We operate in a hybrid work mode and are located in Heraliya.

What will you do?

• Implement solutions and execute end-to-end projects.
• Manage technical issues on servers and services through day-to-day tickets and Jira tasks.
• Provide higher-tier assistance to the Helpdesk team members.
• Perform ongoing maintenance, optimization, and monitoring to ensure systems are up-to-date and operational.
• Optimize company processes through automation.
• Document processes thoroughly.
• Provide rotational on-call support with the team as first-response during nights and weekends.

What will you need?

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of managing on-premise virtualization and cloud platforms, Linux and Windows OS, networking, and deployment tools.
• Experience with scripting and automation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hebrew.
• Ability to work effectively with other teams and manage tasks independently.

Advantage:

• Familiarity with any of the following: VMWare, AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Palo Alto / Firewall management, VPN, Cisco switches, F5 / Load Balancer management, Cloudflare, Ansible, Terraform, Git, Splunk, NAC, managing SSL certificates and SSO.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodology.
• Understanding of security-related practices.
