Chemical Engineer

Rotem Energy (REM) is seeking a talented Process/Chemical Engineer to join our innovative team. REM is dedicated to advance the development of a unique plant for recycling and recovering energy from plastic waste, producing recycled fuels, generating electricity in a residual heat power plant, and supplying products for the chemical and construction industries.

As a Process/Chemical Engineer at REM, you will play a crucial role in handling and advancing our project in the areas of environment, engineering, and regulation. Your responsibilities will include:

- Collecting information and preparing documents

- Performing engineering calculations and mass/energy balances

- Collaborating with the company's team and consultants

- Supporting the company throughout the permit acquisition process, from planning to construction and operation

You will work in a pleasant and green environment at the Greenwork Industrial Park in Kibbutz Yakum, with excellent employment conditions for suitable candidates.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

- Familiarity with environmental regulation is an advantage

- Previous experience in industry and/or consulting is an advantage

- High-level English language proficiency

- Strong collaborative and communication skills
