Senior Electronics Engineer

A robotics company based in Rechovot, Israel is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electronics Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microcontroller programming, sensor and actuator integration, robotics, and PCB design with 7-10 years of relevant experience. This role requires a proactive leader who is capable of making critical decisions and driving technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and testing of electronic systems for robotic applications.

• Integrate various sensors and actuators to enhance the functionality and performance of our products.

• Integrate, design, and develop PCBs, ensuring optimal layout and functionality.

• Lead the electronics development process, from concept through to production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and product managers, to deliver cutting-edge robotic solutions.

• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electronic components and systems to ensure high reliability and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.

• 7-10 years of experience in electronics engineering, with a focus on robotics and automation.

• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, circuit design, and PCB layout.

• Proven track record of leading projects from concept to completion.

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or similar.

• Extensive experience with various microcontrollers (e.g Arduino) and embedded systems.

• In-depth knowledge of sensor technologies (e.g., LiDAR, ultrasonic, cameras, FLIR) and actuator systems (e.g., stepper motors, DC motors).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in robotics companies or related industries.

• Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) and real-time operating systems.

• Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in robotics.

• Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing robotic systems.
