Accountant - Financial Reporting Department

One Zero, the new digital bank controlled by Prof. Amnon Shashua, was granted its banking license in early 2022. It offers private banking services available to everyone using artificial intelligence (AI) based technology.

We are currently seeking an Accountant to join our Financial Reporting Department. The accountant will play a critical role in overseeing the company's financial activities, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and implementing effective financial controls. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Reports to the head of accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly and yearly financial reports
• Compile monthly reports for management and the Board of Directors, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and capital adequacy ratios
• Prepare and submit accurate financial reports to the Bank of Israel in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards
• Enforce financial reporting controls to ensure regulatory compliance and uphold data accuracy
• Prepare the bank's annual tax report
  
  

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in preparing financial statements for banks in Israel
• Strong US GAAP/IFRS knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• High proficiency in English - verbal & written
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  
  

• Strong knowledge of ERP, with a preference for Oracle and SAP
• Knowledge and experience in preparing disclosures on "Credit to the public"
