Application Engineer

Axon Pulse presents next-generation radar signal processing. Using AI and Deep Neural network techniques, Axon Pulse improves the classical radar and signal processing performance and enables enhanced detection, classification, resolution, and tracking capabilities.

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and define the operational and applicative characterization for C4I systems, with a focus on border and facility protection. The role involves managing systems with thousands of users, integrating sensor arrays, and coordinating with human units from division to brigade, battalion, and company levels.

• Lead the writing of operational and techno-operational characterizations for all systems/projects.
• Analyze role players and develop operational concepts (ORS).
• Conduct system engineering and human factors engineering processes.
• Operate human factors engineering entities and participate in IPT engineering teams. Engage design entities to reach requirement specifications and design outputs for software teams implementing operator stations in projects (HRS).
• Develop demonstrative prototypes and validate characterization responses with defined role players and expected workloads.
• Support the operational/applicative development in collaboration with the user interface development teams.
• Write and produce operation manuals for the client (USM).
• Coordinate, write, and produce training curricula within the area of responsibility.
• Manage performance experimentation (PA) concerning operator interfaces and operation scenarios.
• Manage a team including operational system engineers, characterization consultants, and designers.
• Engage in marketing proposals, tender responses, and system demonstrations in lab and field environments.

• Extensive experience as part of an operational applicative characterization team that has accompanied or developed a large-scale border defense C4I system, with emphasis on battalion level and below.
• Familiarity with C4I command systems is an advantage.
• Comprehensive, multi-disciplinary system understanding and extensive experience in operating land-based operational C4I systems.
• Experience in managing and developing operational interfaces/human factors engineering per accepted standards such as MIL-STD-46855.
• Extensive experience in system engineering methodology and execution, with an emphasis on software systems.
• Experience in projects involving autonomous aerial, ground platforms, and human factors is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of product solutions and competitors in the C4I market for HLS (Homeland Security).
