We are looking for a proactive Systems Engineer Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a multidisciplinary environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with a complex, multidisciplinary system encompassing software development, hardware integration, sensor technology, networking, and communication protocols. You will support both technical tasks and contribute to the product development lifecycle, working closely with our team to ensure alignment between technical execution and product goals

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, development, and integration of complex systems involving software, hardware, sensors, and communication networks

Contribute to defining system requirements and ensuring they meet both technical and user needs

Collaborate senior engineers to develop and test system architectures and interfaces, as part of an agile team, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Support the development and execution of system tests, validations, and performance evaluations

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of system components and alignment with project objectives

Help maintain documentation and contribute to product backlog management, ensuring technical tasks align with overall project goals

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with four semesters for graduation (or less)

Solid understanding of systems engineering principles with exposure to software, hardware, sensors, networks, and communication systems

Experience or coursework in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Required availability for 2.5 days a week
