Senior Full Stack Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our innovative Non-Linear AR system, which delivers real-time augmentation on sports events broadcasted on non-linear TV platforms. This position requires a blend of backend and frontend expertise to ensure seamless synchronization and delivery of augmented content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development:
• Develop and maintain the backend pipeline to monitor, synchronize, and manipulate video streams such as SRT & HLS and MySQL resources on the cloud..
• Integrate and manage modules written both in C++ and Node.js.
• Implement a complex metadata system over AWS, including S3 security access and acceleration
• Design and deploy backend architecture (NodeJs) to manage data allocation and pipeline control.
• Create and maintain a dashboard to monitor pipeline status and performance.
• Frontend Development:
• Web frontend that can manipulate AR content in a synchronized manner over a DRM video playback
• Ensure frame-accurate synchronization of video playout with WebGL rendering of augmented content.
• Work across multiple browsers and operating systems to deliver a consistent and high-quality user experience.
• Utilize advanced web development techniques and WebGL to achieve smooth and interactive augmentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in fullstack development with a strong focus on backend and web technologies.
• Proficiency in C++, Node.js, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Deep understanding of synchronization techniques and rendering pipeline for multimedia content, specifically in a web browser environment. 
• Experience with database management, particularly MySQL.
• Strong knowledge of cloud storage solutions, specifically AWS S3.
• Hands-on experience with WebGL and advanced web development practices.
• Familiarity with video streams (SRT, HLS) 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in real-time video processing and broadcasting.
• Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and tools.
• Previous experience with sports broadcasting and AR technology.
