Java Software Engineer

A fintech startup that has developed a digital account application aimed at under-served populations, such as foreign workers and other communities in Israeli society that do not receive adequate support from the existing financial system. The product provides advanced financial services for end customers and international financial institutions.

Additionally, they have developed a B2B product that offers end-to-end cross-border payment solutions for international financial institutions via API – real-time money transfers using the most advanced technologies!

The company's products serve tens of thousands of customers every month, and the financial network they have built covers nearly one hundred countries and dozens of payment methods.

The company is funded by investors with very strong financial backing and does not rely on investor funds. They have tens of thousands of active customers!

Located in Tel Aviv near a train line, they operate one day a week from home and have about 70 employees, including 12 in R&D.

Role Description:

Part of the company's development team, reporting to the team leader.

100% server-side development in Java and a bit in Kotlin, in an AWS environment, over Linux. The development is very challenging, with a system capable of supporting high transaction volumes, very high scalability combined with information security.

Requirements-

• 5 years of Backend development experience
• 2 years of Java development experience – from the most recent tenure
• Experience working in a Cloud environment
• BSc degree
