VP Investments

To succeed as a VP of Investments at NED, you should be an excellent analyst with a background in investments.

Role Profile:

• Collaborating with the CTO to monitor the progress of planning, engineering, and finance projects.
• Finalizing contracts with suppliers, including consultants and contractors, in collaboration with the CEO and CTO.
• Researching the Data Centre sector and assets in different locations to develop a pipeline.
• Creating financial models to support investment analysis, including underwriting, business plans, and cash flow models.
• Assisting the team in preparing investment memoranda for internal investment and investor approval.
• Supporting all necessary workstreams for deal execution, including initial due diligence, cashflows, and Investment Memoranda.
• Providing investment performance and transaction target data to the BD team for fundraising purposes and liaising with them to raise equity and source debt.
• Compiled quarterly and annual closing reports for the company's investors.
• Presentation preparations.
• Ensuring budget adherence, accountability, and monitoring. 

The ideal candidate should have:

• Previous experience in analyzing data center, infrastructure, or real estate assets.
• Excellent academic background.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, including underwriting, business plans, cash flow models, and pipeline analysis using Excel.
• 2+ years of experience at a recognized investment bank, PE RE firm, institutional investor, government office, Big 4 firm, or similar.
• Ability to work within a small team, prioritize tasks from multiple sources, and work on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally if required.
