Junior Red Team Specialist

A Leading Cybersecurity Consulting Firm is looking for a Junior Red Team Specialist to join its team. This role involves performing penetration tests on infrastructures and applications to help identify vulnerabilities and improve security measures.

What you will do:

- Conduct simulations or assessments to evaluate IT security structures by placing them under stress or attack, aiming to identify and resolve potential vulnerabilities.

- Collect intelligence and perform reconnaissance on targets to determine the most effective attack methods.

- Develop attack plans, including tools and techniques.

- Execute controlled attacks using methods such as vulnerability scanning and social engineering.

- Perform tests on applications, network devices, and cloud infrastructures.

- Design and conduct simulated social engineering attacks.

- Research and experiment with various attack types.

- Develop methodologies for penetration testing.

- Review code for security vulnerabilities.

- Reverse engineer malware or spam.

- Document security and compliance issues.

- Write technical and executive reports.

- Communicate findings to both technical staff and executive leadership.

- Validate security improvements with additional testing.

This is a full time, hybrid position.

Relevant candidates must live in Israel.

Requirements:

- Experience in penetration testing on infrastructures and applications.

- Familiarity with common penetration testing tools and techniques.

- Understanding of network, application, and cloud security.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to conduct research and experiment with new attack vectors.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP) are a plus.
