Position Overview: Sheba Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Manager for our Sperm Bank. The laboratory specializes in sperm analysis, preservation for preservers and donors, and enhancement procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of approximately 4 staff members
- Introducing and integrating new technologies
- Promoting and enhancing operational processes
- Upgrading testing methodologies
- Leading the laboratory to achieve ISO 15189:2022 quality accreditation
This is a full-time, challenging role with extensive professional scope. The laboratory is pivotal in advancing and leading the male fertility sector in Israel.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (life sciences, etc.) – required; Ph.D. – highly advantageous
- Minimum of 4 years of laboratory experience – required
- Proven management experience – highly advantageous
- Strong collaborative and team-working skills
