Laboratory Manager for Sperm Bank at Sheba Medical Center

Position Overview: Sheba Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Manager for our Sperm Bank. The laboratory specializes in sperm analysis, preservation for preservers and donors, and enhancement procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of approximately 4 staff members
• Introducing and integrating new technologies
• Promoting and enhancing operational processes
• Upgrading testing methodologies
• Leading the laboratory to achieve ISO 15189:2022 quality accreditation

This is a full-time, challenging role with extensive professional scope. The laboratory is pivotal in advancing and leading the male fertility sector in Israel.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (life sciences, etc.) – required; Ph.D. – highly advantageous
• Minimum of 4 years of laboratory experience – required
• Proven management experience – highly advantageous
• Strong collaborative and team-working skills
