What's Guardio?

Guardio is a B2C cybersecurity startup offering security and privacy solutions directly to consumers - regular people, not corporate companies. We develop products you’d want for yourself, your parents, family, and friends. Our goal is to protect real people from cyber problems and crime. We try and avoid buzzwords, but sometimes those keywords are necessary: we help our customers avoid and combat the modern world’s security threats, like phishing, financial scams, malware, browser hijacking, identity theft, data leaks, and a whole lot more.

Guardio is a relatively small company (we just passed 80 people) on a rapid growth path, and we’re looking for core team members to join our team. We already have well over a million registered customers and plenty of new products and features in the pipeline.

So, what's the job?

We are looking for a Data Scientist (Cyber Security).

You will:

• Solve complex and strategic data challenges that directly affect online cyber-security and privacy for millions of people.
• Own the process end-to-end from research, feature engineering, and model development to deployment, outcome analysis, and refinement.
• Develop, evaluate and maintain ML & AI solutions directly integrated into Guardio’s production environment.
• Enjoy a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced business and work environment within a small and growing organization.
• Collaborate with a team of A-player researchers, data analysts, and engineers to solve and advise regarding complex data problems.

Well, our guess is you have a good chance of being that person if you check as many of these as possible:

• 3+ years of proven experience in end-to-end ML/AI workflows, from initial research to deployment & monitoring.
• Experience and knowledge in web technologies and cyber-security.
• Proven ability to own and deliver complex research projects.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning.
• Proficient SQL skills - Advantage.
• Prior experience in startup environments - Advantage.
• Prior experience with machine learning platforms, like Vertex AI - Advantage.
