International controller

We are seeking an Experienced Accountant/Controller for our Israeli office. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate accounting operations, conducting thorough reviews of financial processes, and aligning with local regulations and corporate policies.

As An Experienced Accountant, You Will

• Prepare and review the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy. This includes managing accruals, capitalizing software and projects, allocations, intercompany transactions, payroll accruals and liabilities. Manage local financial statements and coordinate with corporate finance for alignment. Provide oversight to ensure that financial processes align with policies, and support accurate financial reporting. Evaluate existing accounting processes and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Maintain effective financial controls to uphold the integrity of financial operations and security in both Israel and Ireland.
• Evaluate existing accounting processes and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Develop and enforce internal controls to maintain financial security.
• Review and approve all ongoing local tax filings including VAT. Prepare, review, and submit detailed tax returns and comprehensive tax reports. Manage and coordinate tax audits, ensuring compliance and readiness for external reviews. Oversee the preparation and submission of Israeli and Irish tax filings.
• Ensure financial reporting processes adhere to regulatory requirements for both Israeli and Irish entities. Manage audit preparations and act as a liaison with external auditors. Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate submission of statutory filings. Ensure readiness for local statutory audits for both Israeli and Irish entities.
• Review payroll processing outputs for accuracy in calculations, statutory deductions, and compliance with local laws in Israel.
  
  

You Should Apply If You Have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with a strong emphasis on financial review and compliance.
• Proficiency in NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee and review financial reports, tax filings, and audit preparations.
• Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, fluent in Hebrew and English.
