We are looking for a senior and experienced Engineer to lead the technical domain of Applied Materials cutting-edge Optics suppliers as part of the R&D division.

Engineering group consists of highly experienced engineers in many disciplines, such as Mechanics, Optics, Electronics and Motion, responsible for managing all technical aspects of cutting-edge suppliers worldwide.
We drive our suppliers to excellence and robustness, enabling smooth manufacturing processes in our facility in Rehovot.
What you'll be doing?
- Responsibility for Applied Materials Suppliers manufacturing compliance from early NPI processes through engineering transitions to sustained production.
- Early engagement in NPI development processes, Leading Suppliers Engineering perspective and influencing Product-design to achieve Operational criteria, Suppliers optimized Testability and Manufacturability by standard industry tools, like D/FMECA, PQP, SPC, etc.
- responsibility over Applied Material future growth in terms of Suppliers' capacity
- Education: Engineering Degree in Electronics / Electro-optics Engineering / Physics
- Experience: 7+ Years of experience under relevant professional positions
- Experience working with Optics Suppliers through Development/ Engineering transitions and Sustained manufacturing processes.
- Experience in multidisciplinary R&D and Engineering processes.
- High Technical capabilities, Demonstrating in-depth comprehensive understanding within own discipline and wide knowledge of others.
- Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
