System Engineer

"Pearls of Wisdom", located in Netanya, is developing multidisciplinary systems for terrain dominance and ground surveillance, mainly for defense and homeland security purposes. The systems are based on wireless sensor networks, based on cutting-edge sensing technologies, unique data fusion algorithms, and ultra-low power consumption. The company's solutions include autonomous aerial deployment by miniature drones.

Pearls of Wisdom was founded 15 years ago and has about 40 employees. The company provides systems to customers in Israel and abroad.

Job description:

Leading the system architecture and design process, writing system documents, intimate familiarity with all system components (hardware, software, network protocol, algorithms, mechanics, etc.), system integration of sensor networks, wireless communication systems, miniature drones, management, control, and monitoring. Problem solving, research, and solution. Working with customers and managing subcontractors. Participation in unit tests up to system-level tests in the laboratories and in the field.

Required knowledge and experience:

•       At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering of multidisciplinary projects

•       Holds a B.Sc (or higher) in one of the fields of engineering/physics/computer

·        science

•       Extensive knowledge of the fields of hardware, software, algorithms, mechanics

•       MATLAB - an advantage

•       Experience in working with hardware and embedded software - an advantage

•       Experience with sensor systems - an advantage

•       Background in wireless communication networks and protocol development – an advantage

·        Experience with drones and airborne systems - an advantage
