Production Department Manager

A production manager is needed for an industrial plant in the south

To manage and lead the factory's production system while complying with the production plans and output goals, quality in production, efficiency and compliance with delivery dates as well as leading improvements from the worlds of LEAN

Subordination to the VP of Operations

Requirements

· Degree in industrial engineering and management/mechanical engineering

· At least 7 years of managerial experience in a large organization (over 200 employees)

· Experience in managing a team of employees and middle managers

· Experience working with the railway department

Knowledge of machining field - mandatory

Adherence to plans in all departments while characterizing production resources, manpower, monitoring execution versus planning and defining an action plan to close gaps

Compliance with a new set of indicators (KPI) to control efficiency, quality, on-time delivery, etc.

Ability to make decisions under pressure, systemic vision and creative thinking
