System Engineer

Attis Aviation is working in the field of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Company’s activities include UAS development, flight testing, pilots training, certification, operation and more. As part of the company’s growth, we are looking for an experienced System Engineer.

Position Overview:

Attis Aviation, a prominent player in the field of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), is seeking a dynamic and experienced UAV System Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key contributor, leading the development, integration, and testing activities within UAS projects. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of hands-on experience, technical expertise, and project management skills to drive the success of our UAS initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Project Management:

1. Manage and lead UAS design, development, integration, and testing activities in alignment with project objectives.
2. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and compliance with specified requirements.
3. Coordinate with subcontractors for the execution of engineering activities.

• Technical Leadership:

1. Guide technicians in integration, testing, maintenance, and production activities.
2. Lead the integration process of UAS components, covering avionics, sensors, communication systems, aeromechanics, and more.
3. Develop and execute integration strategies to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. 

• Collaboration:

1. Collaborate closely with operational and manufacturing teams to facilitate end-to-end integration.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related challenges during the development phase. 

• Quality Assurance and Innovation:

1. Implement best practices for quality assurance, testing, and validation of integrated systems.
2. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in development and integration processes. 

• Documentation:

1. Prepare and maintain comprehensive development, integration, and testing documents.

• Certification:

1. Liaise with CAAi for technical certification activities. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in System Engineering roles within the UAV sector.
• Hands-on experience in UAS development and integration projects, defining requirements for electronics, software, mechanics, and flight dynamics.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of UAV systems, avionics, communication protocols, and sensor integration.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools for overseeing complex projects.
• Experience in managing technical teams in UAS projects is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in certification processes for UAS is advantageous.
• Innovative mindset with a passion for staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
• Experience as a UAV technician in IAF is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Hebrew languages.
