Junior QA Tester

An innovative and growing passionate international gaming studio looking for a junior QA tester.

As a Junior QA Tester, you will be responsible for executing test cases and reporting bugs in the company's web and mobile applications. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that all features are thoroughly tested and meet the company's high standards for quality. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed reports of your findings and working with the development team to resolve issues. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and prior experience with quality assurance testing.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Understand testing objectives and create test cases based on business requirements
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality
• Analyze test results, report defects, and track defect resolution
• Participate in project meetings and provide status updates on assigned tasks
• Assist senior testers with complex test cases
• Perform root cause analysis on defects to identify underlying issues
• Update existing test cases based on changes in business requirements
• Create new test data to support the execution of test cases
• Maintain a library of all test artifacts
• Adhere to company standards and best practices for software testing
• Train new team members on company testing procedures
• Provide feedback to improve the software development process
  
  

• 0-1 years professional experience in quality assurance or software testing
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Working knowledge of test management tools, such as JIRA
• Experience with both manual and automated testing
• Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  
  

• ISTQB Certification
• Experience with performance and load testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner
• Experience with mobile application testing
• Experience with database query tools, such as SQL Server Management Studio or MySQL Workbench
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
