VP Export

One of Israel’s leading logistics and freight forwarding organizations is looking for a candidate for the VP Export position, reporting directly to the CEO. This person will be responsible for all the management and strategy aspects of the export including responsibility for the suppliers, customers, and employees.

Key Responsibilities

The VP will be responsible for leading the ocean & Air export of the company and will be a member of the executive management team.

Key responsibilities:

· Managing 10 employees with the potential to recruit more.

· Managing the relationship with the shipping companies, including Negotiating and maintaining close cooperation with various suppliers.

· Identifying business opportunities and profitable collaborations, including recruiting customers for the company.

· Managing the relationship with suppliers and customers abroad.

· Managing operational improvements and efficiencies to allow for better service and profit margin increase.

· Leading normal working processes while striving for efficiency.

· Managing contact with customers and providing solutions for troubleshooting while striving

for excellence.

Requirements

· At least 10 years of experience from similar companies in the Freight Forwarding

industry.

· At least 10 years of experience in export (air & sea).

· At least 5 years of experience in management and business development.

· English must be impeccable and must be to a highly professional standard.

· Excellent presentation capabilities.

· Motivation, full energy, risk favorite mindset, and a deep wish to change the world.

· Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and the workforce.

· Outstanding organizational and leadership skills including negotiation, problem-solving,

and decision-making.
