Your Team & Role

We at Zadara are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our core Object Storage development team to build and deliver our next generation of high-performance, infinite-scale and flash-optimized Cloud Object Storage.

As a Sr. Software Engineer in the team, you will design and lead the development of new Enterprise-grade features. You will also explore and design new directions to improve our product performance and scalability. You will be challenged with complex high-performance distributed software system issues that require a deep understanding of the Cloud infrastructure and Object Storage concepts in parallel to advanced knowledge in Linux.

Your day to day

• Work as part of a cross-geographic agile team, working in high velocity, and delivering great quality
• Work closely with our Product team and chief architect to design new features and/or improve existing functionality
• Explore and resolve complex customer issues escalated by our Support team
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent from a leading university.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Golang or C / C++ programming skills.
• Database (preferably Mongodb or any NoSQL) experience.
• Understanding of Linux/Unix platform and the concepts.
• Ability to lead a new feature development from design through implementation and support plus the ability to lead peer team members.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High motivation to work in dynamic and innovative startup.
  
  

• Python programming skills.
• Familiarity with OpenStack Swift/Ceph/Object Storage technologies with active community contribution.
• Hands-on experience in multithreaded programming and distributed systems.
