Technical Writer

Sola Security is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our growing product team. You will have a strong background in technical writing, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies. You will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation that supports our products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Create High-Quality Documentation: Produce comprehensive product documentation, release notes, API documentation, and more to educate and guide our customers.
• Microcopy Development: Write and edit concise, user-focused microcopy for the features you manage.
• Deep Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our product through research and hands-on use.
• Voice and Tone: Embrace and help define our modern, conversational voice and tone, setting standards, processes, and best practices.
• Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with UX designers, product managers, engineers, QA testers, and other stakeholders, integrating yourself into the software development process.
• Review and Feedback: Participate in the review process of product microcopy/UX writing, offering feedback to enhance clarity, accuracy, and user experience.
• Customer Advocacy: Tailor documentation to the intended audience, always advocating for the customer in every aspect of your work.
  
  

• 3+ years experience in a product documentation role at a SaaS-based tech company.
• Proven ability to write about highly technical subjects.
• Native in English; high proficiency in Hebrew.
• Experience with UX writing.
• Familiarity with a docs-as-code model or experience using Git for documentation source control.
• Proficiency in using documentation tools to create visually appealing and interactive content.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Strong focus on customer needs rather than system functions.
• Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and an appreciation for process.
  
  

• Previous experience in a cybersecurity company.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and Cloud Service Provider platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• A background in technology.
