Information Technology Manager

Role Summary:

The IT Manager will be responsible for:

• Overseeing and managing the company IT infrastructure.
• Ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, networks, and applications.
• This role involves implementing security measures, and collaborating with various departments to support our cybersecurity services.

Core Responsibilities:

• IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, installation, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud based services. Perform regular updates, patches, and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Monitor and track IT assets, including hardware and software licences. Coordinate equipment inventory and manage procurement processes.
• Cybersecurity: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the company's data and systems from cyber threats. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies. Maintain data privacy and protect the company's sensitive information from potential threats.
• System Administration: Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. Identify areas for IT process improvement and propose innovative solutions to optimize workflows and enhance system performance.
• Project Management: Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and the implementation of new technologies.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution of IT issues. Address hardware and software issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and escalate complex cases as necessary. Identify areas for IT process improvement and propose innovative solutions to optimize workflows and enhance system performance.
• Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure the procurement and maintenance of necessary IT equipment and services.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT processes, systems, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in network and system administration, cloud services (AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity tools and practices. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to think strategically and implement effective solutions..
• Project Management: Experience in planning and executing IT projects. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proven track record of implementing technology solutions that drive business results.

Exceptional candidates will have one or more of the following:

• Experience in a SaaS environment is highly desirable.
