IT Systems Engineer

The local IT team at Cadence Israel is looking for a talented Desktop Systems Specialist to join our Local IT Support team in Petah-Tikva.

The work consists local support for new and existing users, while collaborating with global IT and farm teams. The job includes Windows and Linux operational and troubleshooting for end users, manage and maintain A/V aspects of our office: conference rooms and VC systems, projectors, speaker systems, hardware and software server’s maintenance and running the day-to-day IT operations.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive onsite support for Windows, MAC, and MS Office365 users.
• Applying networking knowledge to manage WiFi , LAN, and VPN connectivity issues.
• Performing routine installations and maintenance on desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Offering both onsite and remote support to our diverse user base.
• Ensuring the smooth operation of our office IT environment, including meeting rooms, projectors, video conferencing systems, printers, and multi-functional devices.
• Supporting and maintaining IT requirements for training classes.
• Working closely with international IT teams on global IT projects.
• Asset management of the company hardware.
• Working with vendors and external suppliers on hardware fixes and company purchases.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Windows (desktop and server), MAC OS, and MS Office 365.
• Basic knowledge of Linux.
• Experience working with Virtualization and VPN solutions.
• Capable of network troubleshooting.
• A solid understanding of PC architecture.
• Experience working with corporate Video Conference systems (advantage )
• A self-motivated individual who thrives in a team environment.
• Previous experience in a global company is an advantage.
• MCSE, CCNA, and VMware certifications will have a significant advantage.
