Vice President Operations

Position Summary: As the VP of Operations, you will oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of technology-driven projects within the organization. You will ensure that projects align with the company’s strategic objectives and are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. You will lead a team of project managers and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and operational excellence

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, implementation, and execution of high-tech projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals
• Develop and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and tools to support the successful delivery of projects
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the project management team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to address potential issues
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful project outcomes
• Manage resource allocation and project prioritization to optimize team productivity and project delivery
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in project management
• Report regularly on project status, performance, and key metrics to senior leadership
• Report to the COO

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior project management role within a high-tech or technology-driven environment- 15-20 years
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and developing project teams
• Excellent project planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically
• Familiarity with project management software and tools, as well as agile and traditional project management methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred
