Job Description

Guardoc is an early-stage startup committed to transforming clinical documentation compliance. Our innovative platform scrutinizes clinical charts within healthcare providers' Electronic Health Records (EHR), utilizing AI to mirror the critical thinking of nursing professionals. 

Our goal is to fortify clinical documentation for compliance and reimbursement, enhance patient care, and provide in-depth insights from medical data, guided by nursing literature, protocols, and real-world evidence. As our Head of R&D, you will help us shape, mold and build our product and team. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends, have excellent communication and have a team like approach to supporting business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Define the company's technological stack
• Build, hire and grow the development department
• Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its mission and vision
• Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Build quality assurance and data protection processes
• Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
• Communicate technology strategy

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of proven experience in leadership development roles in startups
• Developer with hands-on experience
• Experience in building SaaS platforms
• Strategic thinking and strong business acumen
• Ability to conduct technological analysis and research
• Management and hiring experience
• Great organizational skills, self-driven, goal-oriented, and time management abilities
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience as a Team Lead/VP R&D
• Experience with building Machine Learning NLP-based products
• Experience or passion to build Digital Health solutions
