Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, debug, and enhance low-level C/C++ code for interfacing with hardware components, peripherals, and sensors.
• Create and maintain device drivers and board support packages (BSPs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects, to define and implement software requirements at a low level.
• Engage in ASIC and board bring-up, validation, and testing of new hardware to ensure proper functionality and compatibility.
• Diagnose and resolve system-level issues and performance limitations in resource-constrained environments.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions, offering technical guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
• Over 5 years of experience in embedded engineering.
• BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, and peripherals.
• Practical experience in developing device drivers and board support packages (BSPs).
• Strong debugging skills in a lab environment using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers.
• Ability to implement hardware functionality in software based on guidance from the hardware team.
